Sea Kayak, Stroll, Seals and SailAbel Tasman Full Day
Start your day at 8:15am, navigating your sea kayak past islands, sea caves and golden beaches on your paddle between Marahau and Watering Cove. Stretch your legs and get the blood pumping with a short stroll over the hill and into Anchorage Bay, while taking in the amazing views. Don't forget your camera!
Join the catamaran at Anchorage by 1:30pm and check out the Fur Seal colony at Pinnacle Island before an exhilarating sail back down the coast via Split Apple Rock.
- Meeting Place and Time: 8:15 am check-in, at Kayak Base, Marahau. & then 1:30 pm check-in, at Catamaran in front of the DOC Hut, Anchorage.
- Departs & Returns from: Marahau at 8:30 am, back to Kaiteriteri Beach at 4.30 pm.
- What's included: Half day guided kayak tour, dry bag for kayak storage, Half day skippered sail tour, Free tea & coffee. Toilets on board sailing catamaran. Free afternoon transfer from Kaiteriteri Beach to Marahau.
- Essential to Bring: Small day bag (storage available in Kayak & Yacht), layers of warm clothing, wind proof jacket, shoes that are easily removable, swim wear & towel, your own water bottle, lunch (unless pre-ordered) plenty of sun screen (SPF 30+ is best), sun hat, sun glasses and your camera!
It is important to note that check in for the Kayak portion of this trip is at 8:15am. Your sailing departure is then scheduled for 1:30pm from Anchorage Beach.
*From 1 October 2020 there will be an additional Environmental Access Fee (EAF) to the trip fare. This fee is set by Department of Conservation and contributes to the conservation and improvements of the Abel Tasman National Park and beaches.
