Our Story

DOC Approved label 185The Department of Conservation is the central government organisation charged with conserving the natural and historic heritage of New Zealand. We are Doc concessioned operators which means we are permitted to land our guests on the beaches and foreshore of the Abel Tasman National Park.

Within the Abel Tasman National Park we are authorized for guided walking, to arrange weddings, provide on yacht accommodation and provide water taxi and charter boat services.

We have a Marine Mammal Watching permit and are authorized Marine Mammal Operators which allows us to take you to see the NZ Fur seals.

mnz logo 300x151All our vessels are certified and operated under Maritime Operator Safety System (MOSS) and exceed Maritime New Zealand standards. Our boats have a documented maintenance plan and are regularly externally audited.
