Start your day at 8.15am with Abel Tasman Kayaks catching a water taxi into the heart of The Park to Anchorage.  From here enjoy a guided kayak tour paddling among the little islands of this sheltered bay. This tour is ideal for families or the less experienced kayak cruiser. This mornings kayak trip has a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment, paddling at a relaxed pace and pausing often for stories, to enjoy views, and conversation. 

Enjoy your own packed lunch on the beach (pre-ordered lunch available) before meeting your knowledgeable skipper, boarding your stable sailing catamaran and let nature do the work, catching the sea breeze as you sail along the coastline, enjoying the sights of stunning beaches, bays, islands and estuaries on your journey back to Kaiteriteri Beach.

• Meeting Place and Time: 8:15 am check-in Abel Tasman Kayaks, Marahau Base.
• Departs & Returns from: Marahau at 8:15 am, back to Kaiteriteri Beach at 4.30 pm. Return transfer to Marahau included.
• What's included: Water Taxi to Anchorage Bay, guided morning kayak tour of Anchorage Bay and its little islands, dry bag for gear, afternoon skippered sail tour, free tea & coffee. Toilets on board the sailing catamaran.
• Essential to Bring: Small day bag to carry your gear (storage available in kayak & yacht), layers of warm clothing, wind proof jacket, shoes that are easily removable, swim wear & towel, your own water bottle, packed lunch, plenty of sun screen (SPF 30+ is best), sun hat, sun glasses and your camera!

It is important to note that check in for the Kayak portion of this trip is at 8:15 am in Marahau. Your sailing departure is then scheduled for 1:30 pm from Anchorage Beach and finishing in Kaiteriteri at 4.30 pm. Return transfer to Marahau included.
