Choose a 2, 3 or 4 day tour (or longer if you wish!) where your yacht is your accommodation, meals, activities and transport – all in one package!

TOUR OPTIONS

Tours depart and return from Kaiteriteri. Departure time is 10am and return on final day at 4.30pm. As it is a private charter this can be changed if needed to suit your holiday itinerary.

Tours are available all year and are exclusive charter designed for 2 – 8 guests. Minimum charge is 4 people. Transfers available from Nelson region, please ask.

Two Day Sailing Tour

For those shorter on time but really wanting a true taste of the Abel Tasman.

Day 1
Depart Kaiteriteri, cruise past Split Apple Rock, Adele & Fisherman Islands.
Lunch onboard in a quiet bay.
Walk Torrent Bay to Bark Bay.
View the antics of NZ fur seals.
Overnight at Bark Bay or sail to Anchorage Bay and stay onboard.
Day 2
Sail to Tonga Island.
Kayak or dinghy into Shag Harbour.
Cruise the coastline viewing Cathedral Rocks, stopping to explore beaches and bays.
Listen to the Adele Island birdsong.
Catch the afternoon sea breeze back to Kaiteriteri.

Three Day Sailing Tour

A real experience of the Abel Tasman, enjoying full days in a relaxing way.

Day 1
Depart Kaiteriteri, cruise past Split Apple Rock, Adele & Fisherman Islands.
Lunch onboard in a quiet bay.
Walk Torrent Bay to Bark Bay.
View the antics of NZ fur seals.
Sail to Anchorage Bay and stay onboard.
Evening adventure to see the glowworms and cave wetas.
Day 2
Kayak or dinghy into Shag Harbour.
Sail to Awaroa. Explore the shallow waters of the lagoon.
Walk to Awaroa to Totaranui.
Join the yacht for a sail on the afternoon sea breeze to Tonga Island.
Overnight on anchor.
Day 3
Walk Onetahuti to Bark Bay.
Try some fishing, swimming or relax in the hammock.
Explore Falls River, bays & beaches before catching the afternoon sea breeze back to Kaiteriteri.

Four Day Sailing Tour

Ideal for a full immersion in the beauty and relaxation of the Abel Tasman National Park. Often referred to as a holiday within the holiday.

Day 1

Lunch onboard in a quiet bay.

Walk around Separation Point to Whariwharangi Bay.
Enjoy this remoteness with a quiet night at Taupo Point.
Day 3
Cruise to Awaroa Lagoon exploring the shallow waters
Swimming and kayaking.
Sail to Onetahuti, walk from here to Bark Bay.
Join the yacht and relax in the hammock with a good book or try fishing.
Sail to the beautiful TePukatea Bay for the night.
Day 4
Enjoy a short walk around Pitt Head to Anchorage.
Explore Falls River by kayak in this sheltered estuary.
Catch the afternoon sea breeze back to Kaiteriteri.
